How to Play ColorBlock: A Player's Guide

Your goal is to place the colorful blocks onto an 8x8 grid. Just tap, drag, and drop the blocks where you think they’ll fit best—just like in Tetris! But here’s the twist: the blocks come in different shapes, so you’ll need to think ahead and plan carefully.

The key to racking up points is clearing rows or columns by filling them completely with blocks. Every time you fill a row or column, the blocks disappear, giving you more space to work with. Keep clearing rows and columns to stay in the game and climb the leaderboard.

Want to level up your game? Aim for combos. If you can clear multiple rows or columns within three moves, you’ll activate a combo that boosts your score and speeds up the action. The faster and more efficient you are, the higher your score can go. Think of each move as a chance to set up bigger clears and chain them together.

Here’s where strategy really comes into play: the blocks in ColorBlock don’t rotate. This adds an extra layer of challenge because you have to work with the shapes as they are. You’ll need to think multiple moves ahead and figure out how to fit each block into your grid while keeping space open for future moves.
